Welcome back on this sunny/ sleety afternoon. I now have a confession to make - I have started recently with a 'Wealth Coaching' programme and am working on ways to be financially free.
"What does that mean?" You cry.
Well, let me tell you. 'Financial freedom' means I only have to work if I want to, as I will have enough income flowing passively to me that I can take time off (forever) if I want to. The one year programme will teach me how to use 'leverage' to release capital from my flat to invest in other property, teach me how to make money from selling products on the Internet, how to invest in the stock market, and how to set up my global inspiration business to make me lots of money while helping loads of nurses live happier lives.
This is a lot to take in, and if you have only ever been an employee, and only worked really hard for every quid you have earned, then all this will be news to you.
You may also think I have 'sold out' by wanting to make money. Why? If I have more, I can employ others, give some away, as well as live the life of my dreams (the open top car, trips to beautiful countries, visiting the theatre and comedy shows whenever I want, CD's by the bucket full, living by the sea........). I want to inspire other nurses to do the same.
Nurses can often have a vision of 'lack' with focus on how poor our pay is, and how we will never be paid well for what we do, because it is a 'vocation'. Hmmm! Start to decide to be 'wealthy'. What does that mean for you, and your family?
What big dreams do you have, and how can you achieve them?
Find out how to make more money by reading wealth creation books, or look at www.themoneygym.com and sign up for an education in getting money to work for you, rather than you working for it.
Be wealthy, happynurses!
Hi Claire,
Great, lively blogging.
I'm with you on wanting to create real, lasting wealth in my life which will not only benefit me, but reflect positively on others as well ie 10% tithing to my favourite good causes. The more that I have, the more valuable that 10% is to others.

Great point you made about focusing on what you want, instead of lack and fear of what you don't have.
On your "Happy Reading" book list, you're recommending "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. Fantastic reading, very enlightening. You and your readers may be aware of the DVD "The Secret" and how Rhonda was involved in the creation of it.

Wishing you the best of blogging

Hi Claire
Fab post...and I understand where you are coming from after changing my attitude to wealth and abundance over the last 12 months. I work with Judith Morgan (in her ABC Coaching Gym programme) she's also part of the Money Gym, who is so supportive. If you can, get to one of her Cashflow Games in London (she holds them once a month) to play the game created by Robert Kiyosaki of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" fame.
