Reading the media this week has been the same as usual! Lots of negativity and 'scare' words on whatever topic they choose - this week it's the snow (gasp - snow in Winter, who ever would expect that??!!)
'Worst weather for....(insert date)"
"Arctic conditions...." (better buy a husky....)
"Millions in lost revenue from businesses...."
A quick glimpse around facebook however showed that most of my contacts on there had turned into big kids - building snowmen, throwing snowballs and having FUN!!!
Adverse events will happen to us as a matter of course, but is' how we deal with them that matters. Do you look for 'the worst' and dread the future, or go out and get involved, making the most of your opportunities?
If you are finding it hard to see any positive stuff in the present climate (financial and weather-wise) then make it a daily habit to look for happy events, hook up with friends for a 'gratitude' party and count your blessings.
